摘要:This article discusses the theoretical-methodological issues of an ongoing research in which the looks and impressions of children about their participation in popular and commemorative parties at a children's school are focused. It is made an analysis of children's and popular cultures, and of the hybridism that characterizes the different ways of children's active participation in those parties and in the research process. The first looks indicate the power relations between adults and children, as well as the ambiguous feelings regarding those parties, such as pain, separation and loss; or celebration, joy and pleasure.
