摘要：The origin of high energy 2P1/2 and 2P3/2 x-ray satellites of titanium, copper and Nickel dihalides has been explained using plasmon theory with a new approach by considering both extrinsic and intrinsic contribution simultaneously. Our calculation shows that satellites are due to surface plasmon excitation. We also review the existing calculations and experimental measurements.
