To estimate the mean of a sensitive quantitative variable two Randomized Response Models similar to Ryu et al (2005) model are studied. It is observed that the estimators based on proposed models work better than Ryu et al (2005) estimator in terms of efficiency as well as the provision of privacy to the survey respondents.
