摘要:The airlines of the world carry over 900 million passengers a year. This represents a passenger load
factor ¨C the relationship between seats occupied and seats available ¨C of 66 percent. That is, on
average, passenger planes were two-thirds full. Europe accounts for 70 percent of the world charter
traffic, and this is because of the well-developed package holiday business. The main objective of Low
Cost flights is to increase passenger load factor up to almost 100 percent by reducing prices,
multiplying the number of flights and destinations, etc. preserving meantime the passenger flight
security.
