摘要：Growth literature points out to the possibility that economic development influences in its turn human
capital, including educational attainment. This paper has found evidence of a diminishing impact of
gross national income per capita on total years of schooling, corroborated with a high partial effect
of gross national income per capita on total years of schooling in the case of developing countries.
