摘要：The economic relationships between Romania and Austria are into a continuous development. Romania is one of the
most attractive market for the Austrian investitors because it is a big market and it has an unexploited potential. The
Austrian used the experience accumulated on central-european markets as Slovakia, Ceck Republik or Hungary, too.
Year by year, Austrian occupied important positions in banking system, insurance, in real estate market, food
industry, production field, so that today, Austria became the biggest investitor on Romanian market. The main
investments in Romanian history are the privatization of Romanian Commercial Bank (BCR) by Erste Bank and SNP
Petrom by OMV. The economic relationships between Romania and Austria will develop more in the future, once that
Romania will became an EU member.
