摘要：The ambitious economic program elaborated in 2000 in the medium run, until the Romania¡¯s
accession to the European Union included even from the beginning some conflicting objectives in the
short run and for that it represented a real challenge for the NBR¡¯s monetary policy. For achieving
those objectives a mix of economic policies should have been applied. This mix were based on the fact
that there were not simultaneous targets anymore for the monetary policy and on the speed-up of the
structural reform.
