摘要：Petitioner, Mari Scott Latting, was
admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association
(OBA) in October 1988. Latting practiced law
in the State of Oklahoma until September of
1996. In April 1996 Latting sustained serious
bodily injury after being attacked and mauled
by a German Shepard dog while visiting her
family in Washington state. As a result of the
injuries she sustained, she moved away from
the State of Oklahoma to obtain medical care
and rehabilitation. In March of 1999 Latting
made proper application with the Oklahoma
Bar Association to change her membership
status from “active” to that of an “associate
member.”Her application was approved.
