摘要：We review the status of research on the cooling of compact stars with special emphasis on possible
color superconducting quarkmatter phases in the stars interior. Although a consistentmicroscopic
approach is not yet available severe constraints for the phase structure of compact star matter at
high densities come from recent mass and cooling observations.
