摘要：We study the cooling of compact star cores due to neutrino emission from ungapped quark modes
within an effective theory for magnetic interactions at high density. As shown recently the relevant
low energy dynamics is semi-perturbative even for realistic couplings of order one due to a
systematic expansion scheme in (w/m)1/3, where w is the energy and m the screening scale. We
find that the characteristic T6 behavior of the neutrino emissivity remains valid even when the
strong coupling is not small. In the weak coupling limit the results shows a non-Fermi liquid low
temperature enhancement.
