摘要：The lme function, which fits linear mixed models of
the form described in Pinheiro and Bates (2000), has
been available in the required R package nlme for
several years. Recently my colleagues and I have
been developing another R package, called lme4, and
its lmer function which providesmore flexible fitting
of linear mixed models and also provides extensions
to generalized linear mixed models.
