The purpose of this paper is to present the challenges and opportunities faced by the Romanian hotel industry in regards with the recruitment and selection of the employees and to present some suggestions conductive to making more efficient the hiring process. The ideas and specific recommendations can be applied in other industries confronting with similar challenges related to the attraction of talent and work force shortage.
