In this work we re - analyzed through a language study one
dialogue between Marcelo, a secondary school teacher, and Isa, one of his
pupils, registered in Queiroz’ thesis (2000). Now we have studied some linking
elements between words: two prepositions . on and in . and have tried to
show how they can contribute, in a positive or negative way for the
comprehension of that he desires to explain. In the dialogue the teacher is
arguing with the group how to isolate the forces that act in each body that
composes the physical system in study indicating that its pupils, besides
knowing their mother’s language, which includes the cited prepositions, with its
daily meaning, already had been also presented to the involved physical
definitions in this kind of exercise. We conclude that the teacher reaches its
objective to appraise the normal reaction not as one not pair action-reaction.
