It’s agreed on the experimental activities understood as little
investigations allow the best apprenticeship situations of the curricular
contents of the sciences, but almost doesn’t exists realistic proposals for
their application.
In this paper we summarize the investigation carried out for several
years, which has given as a good result the proposal of a kind of practical
open activities in Chemistry, which are easily applicable in the Secondary
School. We call them “Experimental Problem Solving”. This design keeps up
the difficulties denoted by the numerous authors about the developing of
open practical experimental activities in the educational educative context.
We have applied the design for three years over several conventional
groups of bachelor students of first year (option science) and we have had
an ethnographic study over the activities and the behaviour of the students
in this context.TML>
