摘要：The purpose of this study is to determine whether the parental attitudes and guidance needsare the important signs or not of the career decision making difficulties of high school students.The research is in connectionist survey model. The study group of the research consists of 9th,10thand 11th grade students attending to the secondary school in Konya province in 2004-2005academic year. In this study career decision making difficulties scale,, parental attitudes inventoryand the form of guidance needs have been used as data collecting instruments. In order toanalyze the data of the research Pearson’s correlation coefficient and stepwise regration analysistechniques have been used. Personal/social guidance and career guidance needs of the secondaryschool students have been found to be important signs of carreer decision making difficulties.Personal/social guidance needs explain the 13,9 percent of the variance related to the carrerdecision making difficulties. Personal/social guidance and carreer guidance needs explain 15,5percent of variance related to carreer decision making difficulties.
