摘要：Although International Relations (IR) is one of the junior disciplines among social sciences ithas a rich theoretical basis. In its centennial history, IR has witnessed three great debates.Traditionalism-Behavioralism debate, known as the second great debate, has led the InternationalRelations discipline gain autonomy and more scientific identity. However the meaning ofBehavioralism in the second great debate is neglected and has not been adequately dealt withparticularly in Turkish literature. One of the main contribution of the Behavioralism providingepistemological and methodological changes in the many topics such as foreign policy analysis,theories of decision-making, game theory, data-making, simulation, system approaches, andcontent analysis is conflict resolution. Conflict Resolution, in the light of Behavioralism, has beenone of the most favorite working areas in the discipline since the beginning of the 1950s.
