摘要：The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of contemporary managerial philosophy onproductivity with view point of nurses in hospitals. The findings of the research indicate that the use ofadvanced technology, time management, the employment of well-qualified staff, democratic managerialphilosophy and effective cost management have high effect on improvement of productivity. Butpatient satisfaction and the quality of service are low effective on improving of productivity. Moreover,Total Quality Management and Outsourcing are contemporary managerial techniques which widelyused to increase productivity. When attitudes of nurses concerning improvement of productivitygenerally are taken into consideration; it can be stated that they both favour and do not favour theimplementation of contemporary managerial philosophy.
