摘要：In this study, the development of time perception connected to age in children through the findings of researches which were done in Turkish and English literatures is studied. In this frame, the difference between time perception (conventional time) which children use in their daily lives and general time perception is mentioned, and especially the reasons of differentiations in the development of time perception aimed at hour and calendar is studied. The reasons of these differentiations are evaluated as factors that affect the development of time perception in children. As a result, it is given a lot of attention that time perception doesn’t appear automatically in child, and that time perception acquires a shape from mental development and experience related to age. Also, it is emphasized that time perception acquires a shape connected the intensity of its interaction with time organizers in daily life.
