摘要：Trinidad and Tobago recorded a balance of
payments surplus of $656.7 million in the
fourth quarter of 2005, bringing the annual
surplus to $1,893 million or 13.2 per cent of
GDP. This outturn led to an increase in the
gross official reserves (net of the Revenue
Stabilization Fund) to $4 billion, equivalent to
7.9 months of prospective imports of goods and
non-factor services. Preliminary data suggests
that there was an overall balance of payments
surplus of $513.3 million for the first quarter
of 2006.
