摘要：In March 2002, Casio Computer Co., Ltd.
announced a technology that it said could replace
today¡¯s batteries found in just about every electronics
gadget ¨C from the workhorse laptop PC,
down to the trendiest of MP3 players. The fuel cells
being developed, backed by ¡°100 inventions,¡± would
be half the weight of today¡¯s lithium ion batteries
and run four times longer, courtesy of the ubiquitous
gas hydrogen that would provide instant power. As
early as 2004, the company suggested, we could start
to consider discarding our heavy battery packs and
chargers into the dustbin of gadget history.
