摘要：The economy of Antigua and Barbuda is
estimated to have expanded in the first quarter of
2006 relative to the performance in the
corresponding period of 2005, driven by vibrant
activity in the construction sector. The consumer
price index grew by 0.1 per cent during the period
under review. The central government's fiscal
operations resulted in a narrowing of the overall
deficit. Interest rates were generally stable and
commercial bank liquidity remained at a high level.
