摘要:The trade deficit in 2005 resulted from
decelerating export growth along with faster
import growth. Together with the declining
surplus in the services, income and transfers
account consequent of adverse tourism
activities post-tsunami, Thailand.s current
account turned from a sizable surplus in 2004
into deficit. Nevertheless, large net inflow of
capital more than offset the current account
deficit, thereby allowing the balance of
payments to continue to be in surplus in 2005.
