摘要：This section compares the actual outcome for
the major components of the budgetary balance
for 2005¨C06 to the estimates presented in the
May 2006 budget. The Government estimated
a surplus of $8.0 billion for 2005¨C06 in the
May 2006 budget. This amount was allocated to
planned federal debt reduction. The final audited
budgetary surplus for 2005¨C06 is $13.2 billion.
