摘要：The National Bank of Ukraine ("the NBU") is the central bank of Ukraine and operates in
accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On the National Bank of
Ukraine" and other laws of Ukraine. In accordance with the legislation, the primary function of the
NBU is ensuring the stability of the national currency of Ukraine. The NBU's objectives are also
to ensure the stability of the banking system and, within the scope of its power, price stability.
The NBU does not aim to earn profits. The financial results of the NBU's activities, as well
as the structure of its assets, liabilities and capital are defined by the functions of the NBU as a
special central government authority.
