摘要：An appreciable upswing was observed in the real sector of the economy in 2007. According to preliminary data, GDP amounted to Som 139.7 billion in 2007, having thus increased by 8.2 percent (3.1 percent in 2006) in real terms. In many respects, such rates are determined by an increase in production in such activity categories, as industry, transport and communication, trade, construction, car repairs and articles for personal use. Excluding companies developing a gold ore deposit "Kumtor", growth of GDP was 8.7 percent (5.7 percent in 2006). In the last several years, influence of these companies had been gradually decreasing: if in 2004 the share of the total value added of these companies in a total of GDP was 8.0 percent, in 2007 this parameter was reduced by 2.5 percent.
