摘要：NBKR activity is targeted to achieve and maintain stability of the general price level by conducting the appropriate monetary policy. Inflation, whose value is annually announced in the monetary policy statement, is the stability index of the general price level.
According to the NBKR's monetary policy statement for 2007, the inflation target was set up within the range of not more than 5.0-6.0 percent (December 2007 to December 2006). It was also specified that in case of significant changes in global markets the National Bank might revise this target accordingly.
