摘要：The goals of Statistics Estonia for the strategy period 2003–2007 were as follows:
increased public awareness of the role of offi cial statistics in the democratic society and
the tasks of Statistics Estonia in organisation thereof,
the increased leading and coordinative role of Statistics Estonia in the production of
Estonian offi cial statistics,
more eff ective work organisation and production process of offi cial statistics,
more effi cient coordination in the fi elds of information technology and methodology,
professional and motivated personnel,
implemented quality management and contemporary management methods,
improved working environment.
