摘要：Construction of a new production model was one of
the focus areas in Statistics Finland¡¯s development
efforts in 2005. The production model encompasses
a digitised process from the collection to the dissemination
of data, as well as standardised tools and a
metadata system. Among the goals set for the production
model is replacement of paper questionnaires
with electronic tools, and even wider exploitation
of data from administrative sources in data
collections. Growing amounts of data were collected
electronically for several statistics in 2005. All in all,
99.7 per cent of all required data were collected electronically.
