摘要：Within the framework of preparation for the participation in the Eurosystem, the Bank
of Lithuania further expanded its institutional and administrative capabilities and
consistently continued the work on the practical preparation for the euro adoption in
the Republic of Lithuania. In 2005, the Bank of Lithuania harmonised the national law
with the European Community law, prepared for the minting of euro coins and the
acquisition of euro banknotes as well as the participation in TARGET and paid particular
attention to the provision of information to the public.
