摘要：The year 2004 was a good one for the Rus
sian economy. The key macroeconomic in
dicators testified to continuing rapid eco
nomic growth, an increase in fixed capital invest
ment and real income, and a considerable im
provement in the financial standing of enterprises.
Despite the failure of the Russian Government
and Bank of Russia to meet the target set for in
flation in 2004, consumer price growth last year
was lower than in 2003.
