摘要：Building on the extensive reforms in prior years, UNIDO worked on a sharper focus of
its services, enhancing its technical capabilities and making its support services and
administration more cost-effective. The primary geographic focus remains on the LDCs
and Africa. In terms of thematic focus, energy and climate change are getting increasing
attention. In this context, the Organization has taken steps to gain direct access to
funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF). This will facilitate the transfer of
technologies with reduced greenhouse gases.
