摘要：Choice of subject. The Computer Master Plan of Government Service was prepared in 1987
and according to the initial programme this should have been completed within 10 years. Due to
the great delay and the problems which were observed in the implementation of the Plan, with
adverse effects on the productivity and effectiveness of Public Service and the considerable
increase in the cost of implementation of the Plan, the Audit Office decided for the above
performance audit, which was carried out during the first six months of 2002. During the years
2004, 2005 and 2006 additional examinations were carried out by my Office in connection with the
progress of the Plan and the implementation of my recommendations.
