摘要：Up to the end of 1997, 33 Municipalities have been established, out of which 9 are displaced, after
the occupation of their territories by the Turkish occupation forces. The staff of the displaced
Municipalities is temporarily seconded to various Government Services and Public Corporations.
The income of these Municipalities is derived, mainly, from salaries paid by the various Services,
which employ municipal employees, as well as, from government subsidy.
