摘要：Opportunities,
because the
technological revolution and the
opening of international markets
offer multiple roads to greater economic
growth, to more (and more diverse)
markets, to more and better jobs – in
short, to greater well-being for families.
Threats, because if the globalization
process is not conducted in such a way
that benefits the majority, it can aggravate
the chronic problems of poverty and
income disparities that have historically
plagued the region.
