摘要：The Central Bank will publish the results of the new input-output matrix with base year 1996 in the
third quarter of 2001. This is later than originally scheduled because preliminary results had to be
analyzed and revized with the support and supervision of international experts.
The new series of national accounts using base year 1996 to be published in the Year Book 2000
which should be out by March 2002 is the result of thorough calculations consistent with all the
changes introduced by the 1996 matrix, including new sources of information, improved quality and
methods of calculation based on the concepts of the National Accounts System according to the
latest international conventions. This in-depth overhaul is a far more reliable procedure than a simple
statistical extrapolation.
