摘要：The Eastern Caribbean islands are particularly exposed to volcanic eruptions. The Lesser Antilles arc indeed includes a score of active volcanoes, whose eruptive styles are among the most dangerous and destructive. The definition of vulnerability factors leads to some comparisons and a classification of the islands according to their level of exposure. This approach draws the attention to the imperative need for a proactive management of the volcanic risks in this insular context.
