摘要：In the June 2007 edition of Energy Trends, estimates of regional and local fuel consumption by the road transport sector for 2005 were published. This exercise has now been repeated and estimates for 2006 are presented within this article. This work forms part of a wider project that came out of the 2003 Energy White Paper, which emphasised the importance of local and regional decision making in energy policy.
