摘要：The subject of this study is the manners of approach Ottoman poetry experts towards the art ontology as one of the modern literature theories. In this context, we will compare the study of Tunca Kortantamer where he deals with “Gül Kasidesi” with the study of Dursun Ali Tökel where he deals with a ghazal of Baki in terms of implementing the art ontology on a literature work. On the other hand, whether the art ontology is a sufficient method alone in construing the Ottoman poetry or not will be another subject of this study.
