摘要:Computers reached their real potential in education only after educators used
them in constructivist ways. In order to be effective, educational software should be
designed reflecting sound theories of human learning. The purpose of this study is to give an
example of the use of dynamic geometry software to construct student-centered learning
environments based on Piaget’s adaptation theory. Students from two 8th grade classrooms
from two schools in Trabzon were taught for this study, using computer-based activities of
Cabri geometry. The products and processes of student learning were analyzed and
evaluated. Suggestions were made for effective use of computer-based activities in
geometry education in the latter part of the article.
