摘要:In the 1998 fall edition of Canadian
Business Economics, Robert
Crozier paid tribute to the golden
age of Canadian National accounts
at the Dominion Bureau of Statistics
in 1945-60. It was a pleasure to read
the names of the dedicated group of
economic accountants and statisticians.
These talented people were at
the forefront of important activities
at a time when Canada was an
equal of the United States and Britain
in laying the foundations of
what became a system of national
economic accounts. Further background
history can be found in another
article by David Worton in the
same issue.
