摘要:Deregulation of Canada¡¯s airline
industry has led to rapid consolidation,
inconsistent service and
high prices, the opposite of what
most policy makers promised in
1987 (Lazer, 2000). With the emergence
of Air Canada as the only national
airline, Canadian travelers
are likely to suffer more from overbooking
and labour unrest (for example,
the recent pilots¡¯ strike).
