摘要：The annual growth of global manufacturing value added
(MVA) slowed from 4.3 per cent between 1995 and 2000
to 2.6 per cent between 2000 and 2005. During the
period 2000-2005, world MVA reached $6,537 billion.
The lack of dynamism in the aggregate masks massive
changes in its composition. These changes are the
subject of this chapter.
Section 9.1 focuses on recent changes in the composition
of MVA, while section 9.2 looks at longer-term
changes in the structure of MVA and employment.
