¡°Health care spending hits more than $120 billion,¡± said one, reporting
on the annual report of the Canadian Institute for Health
Information (CIHI). Further analysis showed that health expenditures
represented 10% of Canada¡¯s GDP in 2003, matching the alltime
high reached in 1992 and keeping Canada 4th among comparable
OECD countries.
