development Industry is the innocence with which it
rediscovers and, sometimes, reinvents ideas that have gone
before. Consider the emergence of blended learning.
For as long as educators have been talking about
taxonomies and since the great Greek philosophers favoured
what psychologists call eclecticism, we¡¯ve been exploring and
handing on ideas through a rich mix of methods media and
techniques. Mixed media learning and, therefore, blended
learning were not inventions of the Computer Age ¨C and nor
was informal learning.
