摘要:Since companies routinely tout, ¡®people
are our greatest asset¡¯, they need to live
up to this mantra in today¡¯s competitive
market by rewarding their employees in a
way that inspires and pleases them. This, in
theory, should encourage higher
performance and promote a positive
approach to work and the company.
But what rewards should they offer? No
subject is debated more frequently by
incentive programme providers and their
clients than the value of tangible, non-cash
incentives versus cash. However, during my
15 years in the employee reward and
recognition industry, I have found that the
best managed companies are using noncash
awards and incentives to keep
employees engaged.
