摘要：Story as a genre that Turkish men of letters beganto familiarize themselves since the 19th century presentsa critical landscape to analyse the new themes of socialand cultural change. The period from the mid-nineteenthcentury to the mid-twentieth century is like a labarotaryto observe the development of the genre of story and asthe diversity of themes in the genre. In this article, wediscuss the introduction and development of new themesin Turkish literature of the period of Westernization witha special reference to the original literary resources.
