摘要：Our Divan and Folk Poets had utilized someletters of our old alphabets-which they became in theform of clishe in a way, in order to characterize someparts of our body.That usage of the letters took root from beautycomponent of the beloved or presenting the idea of a bodypart of the lover. Furthermore, we see that some lettersare used depending on the several sufistical expressions.In our work-which is named the reflection of thebody into letters in the Classical Turkish Poetry, we willstudy on similes and metephors which presented byDivan poets utilizing letters in the expression ofcharacters connected with the body.
