摘要：The western rock lobster (Panulirus cygnus) forms the basis of the largest single species fishery
in Australia worth between A$250 ¨C 400 million annually (Caputi et. al 2008). The species is
also captured recreationally through both potting and diving and equates to approximately 5%
of the total catch. Most recreational effort is focused in the first few months of the rock lobster
fishing season around the Perth Metropolitan region (Melville-Smith & Anderton 2000).
