摘要:At the end of the 1990s, when the economic storm was at its height,
many people, including some economists, believed that ICT had drastically
changed the economy. ICT had altered the way in which markets
operate. Economic growth and productivity growth would be permanently
high, the business cycle would be gone forever, and ICT would
simply banish inflation. They baptised it as the New Economy, with ICT
as the backbone.
