摘要:Faculty engaged on Masters programmes at a Swiss hotel school participated in an action research project which aimed to provide ongoing quality improvement within the curriculum. This article describes how the research team addressed one specific issue: the claim that the programmes would help students to become reflective practitioners. The project took place over 3 academic years and the findings show that reflective learning occurred and that, in some cases, the reflective process persisted after the students had left the institution. The findings also shed light on the nature of reflective learning, both from practical experience and from courses of study, and support the findings of other studies into this phenomenon.
